RKO Regent Theater at 133 Crescent St. – Downtown G.R.
This is another of the old theaters in downtown Grand Rapids. This one was located on Crescent St, and was closed in 1964. The theater was 5 stories high with a bowling that I used to go to on the 5th floor. The pins were set by a pin setter….and I still remember it well. They never installed automatic pin setters or an elevator so you had to walk up the stairs to get to it….phew!
