This is one of the theaters I used to go to when a boy living on the west side of Grand Rapids. The Theatre opened in 1928 seating 1122. It remained in operation as a motion picture theatre until 1966 when it closed. A little later it was reopened as the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre until the 70’s when the Civic Theatre moved into the old Majestic Theatre. It is now home to the Hyatt Theatrical Lighting and Supply.
