Collectors have to be wary when purchasing vintage items from ebay, Yahoo and other collectible sites. Some of these items are very expensive and of course with value comes counterfeiters. We come across “fakes” from time to time, and it is our aim to post them here when we do.
One huge clue is to be wary of is any vintage pinback that doesn’t have it’s original backpaper attached. Without it, the pin isn’t worth as much as one that does, and of course we realize that some didn’t have a backpaper to begin with either.
