The is a vintage 1968 "Old Fashioned" Moxie Soda Thermometer. Moxie soda is older than Coca-Cola and even outsold Coca-Cola in 1920. It's said to have an acquired taste.
Research: Moxie began in the 1800's even before Coca-Cola. It was taken over in 1967 by new management and moved to Georgia in 1968. Soon after a disastrous reformulation cost the company nearly half of its customers in New England, and they went back too "old Fashioned Moxie" soon after. We are assuming by this information that this thermometer was made just after the company renamed the slogan to "Old Fashioned.
