Mickey and Pluto Sweater Clasp Cloisonne Pin Set. Mickey is 1 1/4" & Pluto measures 3/4." They attach to each other by a fine gold chain. Back then it was popular for little girls to wear their sweaters around their shoulders without putting their arms through the sleeves...Manufactured by the Brier Manufacturing Company around 1938, when the movie came out Brier Manufacturing was a licensee of Disney Pins between 1935 and 1942!! This pin was one of three sweater clasps pins. The other two pin sets had pins of Snow White & Doc and Mickey/Minnie ..... The back of each pin marked Copyright WD. |
